The South Stream gas pipeline will be laid from Russia to Bulgaria across the Black Seabed.
The design capacity of South Stream will make up to 63 billion cubic metres per year, while the assessed value of the project, 8.6 billion euros.?The construction is due over in 2015.
Gazprom, Slovenia sign South Stream investment agreement
Slovenia and Russia?s Gazprom energy giant have struck an investment agreement on constructing the Slovenian leg of the South Stream gas pipeline.
An accord to this effect was signed Tuesday by Gazprom head Alexei Miller and Slovenia?s Plinovodi d.o.o. Director Marjan Eberlinc in the presence of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Similar investment agreements were earlier signed with Hungary and Serbia.
