What Bird Should i Get? - Pet care and feed

i am looking for a bird that is very playful and nice and does not bite for 100$ or lower and average size.

if you are going to get a bird that don?t bite do not get a Parrot or Parakeet Parrots and Type will bite at any given time it is not there fault and after a certain time in there life something will "set"them off and the saying goes if you cant bite the one you want bite the one you are with it just happens no way around it,budgies do not cost much and they are smart, very smart only sooner or later you will get bite

if you are looking for a bird that is very playful, budgies are good for you, they are small, lovely, cute, they do bites(all of the birds bite) but not that hard, cost 10-20$ and they can talk and whistle. But not because they are small it means that you have to give them small cage, birds are for flying not for swimming or walking, so you need to give them a tall cage(you don?t have to buy a long cage, they need tall cage).Keep in mind that they need fresh water everyday, foods (vegetables, egg food and etc.), they also need lots of toys, and time outside of the cage(if you are scared of them flying around the house, you should not cut there feather wings because it is like taking there rights to fly, as i said, birds are for flying not for ground. So if they fly around your house, just either let your bird fly in a small room and always close the windows. ), healthy diets(birds needs proper diet and don?t just feed them something, search it first if it is healthy for birds because some people thought that breads are bird?s favorite foods but NO it?s not, it is bad for them because it contain sugar which is bad for them and salt which is worst for them), AND the Last thing is, never ever stress your birds, they can either die from it or be mad, so one thing you want to do after buying one(or more) is just give them some privacy for an hour or more in a quiet room.
You can also pick cockatiel, they are small (looks cockatoo) and easy to tame.

Chickens are cute, friendly, playful and only cost 1-5 dollars each. Also they lay eggs so you wouldn?t need to buy eggs anymore. Mine sit on my shoulder, eat from my hand and follow me around. You don?t need a big yard to have two or three bantam(miniature) hens. Look up Belgian D?Uccle and Bantam Old English Game. They are both very friendly. Good luck finding a bird! :)

Hi, I am Savannah. I am eleven years old and have an eclectus parrot named Pickles. You need to make sure you have enough time to put into getting one. I would reccomend an Eclectus Parrot. Like I said though, you need to be able to take it out of the cage at least once a day. My parrot cost $600. I had to raise the money too. It only took me a couple of months. Below are some facts about them. But pllleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaase do not buy one on a whim. You want to make sure you make life pleasant for you and to bird.

Pros:
males are always green, females are always red and purple
the are veeeeeeeeeeery affectionate and playfull
they are good at talking
mine mimics the dog and the cat
they eat almost ANYTHING
they like to swing
mine sometimes falls asleep with me

Cons:
they require alot of attention
there are a few thing that cankill them
you can not use scented candles or nonstick pans around them.( i have heard horror stories)
and so on

EVEN IF YOU WANT TO GET A DIFFERENT BREED OF BIRD, PLEASE DO NOT BUY ONE ON A WHIM. DO SOME RESEARCH. SLEEP ON IT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. AND NO MATTER WHAT, DO WHAT IS BEST FOR THE BIRD!!!! :-D THERE ARE MANY WEBSITES AND BREEDERS

Nice little parakeet.
